Fish the famous fishing grounds of Stellwagen Bank, Wildcat Knoll, Tillies Bank and the famous Backside of Cape Cod. Our spring Cod Charters are usually 10-11 hour trips dock to dock. We also offer 13 hour summer adventures to the distant waters East of Stellwagen Bank. Normal trips usually consist of a 60-90 minute steam while the 13 hour trip will take roughly 2 hours.

Our catch will consist of Cod and our best trip for one day included a 72, 70 & 68 pound Cod. Average Cod will be of market size ranging from 8-15 pounds. Other fish that you will catch will be tasty Haddock, Giant Sea Pollock up to 35 pounds, the ferocious Wolfish (ocean catfish in the supermarket), Cusk, Hake, Red Fish and every so often (but not so often) the Atlantic Halibut. The former 50 Pound Test World Record was caught with Captain Jim at the helm.

Departure times are based on the tides but usually are between 4:00 and 5:00am.

We offer our Deep Sea Fishing Charters year round with species available to be taken home in conjunction with the current National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) regulations. Big Mac charters has fished these very productive waters for over 30 years and hope you can join us in filling the fish boxes.
